1500 Broadway is a four-story structure that acts as the main entrance, feature wall, and signage for the highly sought-after Times Square location.
The new sign required more than 50 perforated panels, including 18 panels with multiple radii. Each panel contributed to the unique curvature featured above the entryway.
To fabricate the panels, AIS created a 3D surface model to identify the different radii required for each panel, then fabricated an 8-foot by 35-foot custom jig structure to hold the panels' shape before installation.
