- 140-foot pylon sign
- LED display
- 43 feet wide, two sections
- Letters
- 33-inch LED front-lit channel letters
The Challenge
The existing landmark sign had taken repeated storm and wind damage. Patching it again was not a durable answer. Simon Property Group needed a replacement that would hold up structurally, keep the property's presence on the highway, and be serviceable for years afterward.
The Scope
A complete replacement structure and identification system, engineered and fabricated for a highway-scale viewing distance.
- 140-foot pylon structure
- 43-foot LED display in two sections
- 10 backer panels totaling 711 sq. ft.
- 33-inch LED front-lit channel letters
How AIS Delivered
The new structure was assembled in-air by AIS crews. At this height, sequencing, rigging, and field coordination matter as much as the fabrication itself, and each section had to arrive ready to set.
Engineering coordination, large-scale fabrication, LED integration, and installation were handled as one continuous program rather than a handoff between trades.
The Result
A 140-foot landmark rebuilt to carry the property's identity at highway scale, with an integrated LED display that gives the center a message surface it did not have before.
